What will you do? In this role, you will be involved in the machining or processing of metal and non-metallic parts by operating CNC Milling Machines.
Key Responsibilities: \n - Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeder, and live tooling.
\n - Optimize set-up times, maximize machine utilization
\n - Ability to run CNC vertical mills/robo drills
\n - Understand specifications of the tasks by reading blueprints, route instructions
\n - Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
\n - Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments when needed
\n - Setup CNC lathe machines to complete full cycles to produce a high and low volume of parts, improve productivity, maintain offsets, and inspect parts with a high degree of precision
\n - Follow the in-process part inspection process, and notify the Supervisor/Lead on the occurrence of non-conformance.
\n - Communicate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel for assignments, and resolve quality issues.
\n - Work safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift.
\n - Document all issues written to ensure a smooth transition between shifts
\n - Check and perform preventive maintenance daily
\n - Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, {3:00 PM - 11:00 PM}.

What are we looking for? We're looking for engaged individuals who are adaptable to a changing environment, take pleasure in learning, and enjoy working with others.
Key Competencies: \n - Knowledge of all required measuring equipment which includes calipers, gauges
\n - Proficient math skills
\n - Ability to document machining procedures
\n - Knowledge of metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling
\n - Experience in Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines preferred
\n - Simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English
\n - Physically able to handle heavy items, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components
\n - Work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies
\n - Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment
\n - Consistently stand for an entire shift
\n - Strong knowledge of machining practices and materials is a must, as is general mechanical knowledge
\n - Willingness to be trained with a desire to learn
\n - Ability to work in a team setting
\n - Great work ethic, reliable, positive attitude
