Job Description: The ideal candidate will be comfortable giving presentations in front of various size audiences, both in-person and virtually.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with development of reports for DWRs compliance with Phase 2 of EPAs NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule (eRule), serving as a technical program representative who can bridge the gap between IT partners and programmatic team on eRule projects, development of training materials and documentation for new and existing forms in MyTDEC Forms, e-reporting, mapping of data between systems, and data flows to DWR and EPA databases.
• Provide outreach to internal and external staff on training for all aspects of e-reporting and NPDES data management.
• Be very detail oriented and attentive to data quality.
• Provide customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Extra skills that would be nice to have are proficiency in ARC GIS and Tableau as these could open additional project opportunities within the unit.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree with 6 semester hours in a quantitative discipline and one year of full-time experience sourcing, collecting, validating, analyzing, or presenting data in a professional environment.
• Skills/Experience: Python (Novice 1-3 years), SQL (Novice 1-3 years), Adobe Acrobat Proficient (4-6 years), Presentation skills Proficient (4-6 years), Data Analytics Specialist Proficient (4-6 years), Data center management Proficient (4-6 years), Learning ability Proficient (4-6 years), Online Web-based Training Developer Proficient (4-6 years), Team work Proficient (4-6 years), Microsoft Office Advanced (7-9 years), SAP (ERP) Novice (1-3 years).
• Languages: Python, SQL.
