Job Description

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to support a cutting-edge aerospace and defense program in Grand Prairie, TX . This hands-on role is ideal for early-career professionals with a background in electrical assembly, soldering, or harness fabrication. You'll be part of a fast-paced team building complex electronic and electromechanical systems used to test and develop tactical hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components based on engineering drawings and schematics
  • Perform soldering and component placement on circuit cards and subassemblies
  • Fabricate wire harnesses, including connector pinning/de-pinning and applying mounting hardware
  • Build up assemblies into larger systems such as cabinet enclosures for delivery to Engineering and Production
  • Use computer systems to log quality inspections, job status, and engineering updates
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Fabricators, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors
  • Follow MIL-STD and IPC quality standards in all fabrication processes
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in a related fabrication environment (e.g., cable/harness, SMT board, or military equipment maintenance)
  • Prior certification in soldering and harness fabrication to MIL-STD requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering guides
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and ability to use digital systems to update work logs
  • Strong communication skills for reporting design/process issues to engineers and managers
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and meeting deadlines in a production environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or technical training
  • Active or expired certifications in J-STD-001 , IPC-7711/7721
  • Familiarity with sourcing test materials or basic procurement
  • Experience building to detailed test equipment designs
  • Prior experience in a defense or aerospace environment
