Local Team Collaboration:

• We are seeking a swing hospitalist to join our well-established team of 10 physicians, three day-rounders, a swing rounder, a day APP, and a nocturnist at Texas Health Rockwall.
• Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds.
• As a smaller community hospital, we work closely with our hospital partners to make meaningful changes. We work closely with our colleagues in all departments to ensure a smooth transition of care.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine only.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Practicing candidates only.

Flexible Scheduling:

• This position is for a swing Hospitalist : 7 on/off, 11 am-11 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care and post-operative care.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons in the preoperative clinic to optimize patients.
• Average of 10-12 admissions.
• Provide support to the rapid response and code team.
• No procedures are required.
