Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY Service of HVAC systems, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic. This position requires the individual to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial HVAC and related equipment. Will also include general maintenance assignments when required. RESPONSIBILTIES/DUTIES The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following: · Ensure controls to process and building comfort systems are functioning properly. · Capable of troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems. · Operation of powerhouse equipment such as steam boilers, air compressors, chilled water systems and associated components. · Compliance to cGMP standards, following written SOPs, WIs and PM tasks. · Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing to ensure continuous equipment and process operations. · Must comprehend and follow lock out/tag out, hot work, and other associated safety policies when performing assignments. · Must perform routine maintenance as scheduled and legibly record information. · Other tasks as assigned to maintain the facility and operational processes. REQUIREMENTS · Must be capable of the physical demands of the work environment. Hot and Cold conditions. Climbing ladders, lifting heavy objects, working in tight spaces and other positioning demands. · Must possess a valid driver’s license and able to respond to rare emergency conditions off normal business hours. · Organizational and computer skills, Outlook, Word, Excel. · Capable of working independently and as part of a team. · A journeyman HVAC trade school certificate is a plus.
