Integrated Polymer Solutions - RMB Products is seeking a Laser Sintering Product Engineer who is responsible for designing and developing products from customer specifications or sales department requests. Working with company personnel, the product engineer is responsible for the integration of materials, methods, and tools necessary to bring new products to the company portfolio.

Job Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the design of products and tooling for a Laser Sintering process. Includes the design of Laser Sintering builds and related tooling to produce products to customer specifications in a cost-efficient manner. Drawings will be produced by CAD utilizing the principles of good mechanical and tool design practice.
• The position will support the requirements of and resolve engineering and tooling related problems in the Laser Sintering atmosphere.
• Develop labor and material cost estimates and estimated completion dates for tooling activities and
• engineering design.
• Position requires interface with all functions Production Operations, Quality Control, Purchasing, Sales
• and customers.
• Responsible for ensuring that all documents related to work performed on his/her project are accurately and completely filled out.
• Experience in SolidWorks CAD software and Laser Sintering process
• Aerospace Certification to PS14295 is highly beneficial but not required
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages
• Must be able to perform organizational skills related, but not limited to, customer projects

Job Specifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required

Years’ Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Laser Sintering is preferred

Skills:

• Proficient in SolidWorks CAD software and Laser Sintering process
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks CAD software
• Excellent technical skills
• Ability to work closely with other departments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Interaction with customer technical experts and sales personnel to maintain customer satisfaction
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Organizational skills
