Are you an experienced Land Surveyor eager to take on a leadership role and help shape a growing survey division? This position offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of survey projects for both public and private sector clients throughout southeast Georgia.

We’re seeking candidates with 5+ years of hands-on experience in areas such as boundary surveys, topographic mapping, subdivision layouts, construction staking, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.

What You’ll Do as Land Surveyor

• Lead and oversee survey projects from kick-off to completion, ensuring budgets, schedules, and quality standards are met.
• Manage both field crews and office teams, providing guidance in data collection, processing, and survey plat preparation.
• Apply advanced technical skills using GPS, robotic total stations, and AutoCAD Civil 3D to support project accuracy.
• Act as a key contact for clients, contractors, and public agencies—keeping communication clear and issues resolved quickly.
• Uphold strict quality control by reviewing calculations, field data, and deliverables.
• Mentor survey staff, fostering skill development, safety awareness, and career growth.
• Stay current with local surveying laws, regulations, and technical standards in Georgia and South Carolina.
• Play an active role in proposals and client relationship-building to support future business.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or similar (preferred)
• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Georgia or South Carolina, or the ability to obtain within 6 months
• Strong leadership ability with proven project management skills
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Highly motivated with integrity and a strong work ethic
• Commitment to mentoring junior staff and contributing to a collaborative team culture
