Job Description

We need a variety of sequences, reliant on different plugins prepared to test our render farm.

The role is to prepare a range of sequences, which could be obtained from open source or paid sources, set them up with the appropriate plugins and bench mark them on our render platform and on other commercially available render platforms.

This role does not require you to create any new assets, only to setup renders of existing files. In some cases you would create the desired timeline by animating a camera fly through of a scene, or placing animated characters in a scene and animating camera position.

The most challenging part is probably going to be managing plugin versions and ensuring lighting and textures looks high quality.

To be suitable for this role you would have

• Experience in rendering high quality commercial scenes eg. for premium advertising, AAA game cut scenes, or other settings with demanding visual quality.
• Experience working with a range of Blender plugins
• Experience using cloud/distributed rendering.

This is a contract role for approximately 100 hours work over the course of 1 month.
