What we're looking for Our Back-End team is designing and building intelligent systems that power our platform. You\'ll work on exciting problems in computational expression generation and data modeling, with a high degree of autonomy to make key decisions. We are looking for engineers who are product-minded, creative, and able to solve core problems. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain complex backend systems (preferably in Python). Integrate AI tools into development workflows (e.g., Cursor, Windsurf). Model data effectively using PostgreSQL and related technologies. Communicate clearly in a remote, async-first environment. Apply pragmatic engineering practices: iteration, code quality, testing, and thoughtful system design. Operate effectively with ambiguity and minimal guidance. Qualifications Minimum of 7+ years of production experience, preferably in a complex SaaS environment. Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex backend systems, ideally with Python. Experience deeply integrating AI tools into workflows. Proficiency with PostgreSQL and data modeling. Excellent technical communication skills in a remote, async-first environment. Fluency with AI tools and coding assistants; track record of integrating them into workflows.
