Sushi Chef — Sonmari (Los Angeles, CA)

Sonmari is seeking a skilled and passionate  Sushi Chef to join our dynamic team. If you love crafting beautiful, high-quality sushi and creating memorable dining experiences, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes to the highest standard
• Ensure consistency, quality, and visual appeal in every dish
• Manage sushi station setup, inventory, and ingredient prep
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with the culinary team to innovate and refine menu offerings

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of traditional Japanese cuisine
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and presentation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented setting
• Passion for Japanese culinary arts and continuous learning
