FX Logistics, LLC, a high growth logistics company located near Gainesville, GA has an open Traffic Lead position. This position reports to the operations manager and is responsible for running traffic as well as leading the traffic coordinators and their communication with the third-party motor carriers hired to transport customer freight. The traffic lead is responsible for providing a leadership role and within that, guide and train the traffic coordinators. FX Logistics has over 40 employees in various customer support roles. This is a critical position in the company and one of the few that does not require transportation experience, though some transportation experience is always a plus. We operate in a 24 x 7 environment, while this position will lead our 2nd and 3rd shift traffic coordinators – it’s a first shift position. Our company has significant additional business in the fourth quarter every year so the candidate must be flexible in order support operations during this time.

Responsibilities:

• Train and audit the traffic team to ensure their ability to communicate, dispatch and deliver information to motor carriers over the telephone
• Help with managing the schedule of traffic employees
• Oversee the GPS platform that ensures our drivers are correctly tracking and tracing in conjunction with verbal and text communication via the traffic team
• Confirm the traffic team is inputting information into our order management system pertaining to the significant events in the life of a load such as carrier pick-up, in transit progress, delivery times, and all exceptions
• Ensuring the proper escalation is happening within operations if anything arises
• Work hand in hand with upper management as well as the rest of operations
