Job Title: Welder and Fabricator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator with the ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG welding and gas shielded flux core welding, focusing on 16 gauge to .5” carbon steel. This role involves ensuring product specifications and dimensions are met and designing and building fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Perform MIG welding and gas shielded flux core welding.
• Work primarily with 16 gauge to .5” carbon steel.
• Ensure product specifications and dimensions are met.
• Design and build fixtures.
• Construct metal enclosures and structures using various welding processes.
• Operate metal fabricating machinery and tools efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively.
• Experience with TIG welding.
• Production experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• An eye for detail.
• Experience setting up machinery for fabricating.
• Knowledge of working with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and brass.

Work Environment

The role offers a structured work schedule of Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm. The position is based in a facility equipped with modern technologies and machinery necessary for metal fabrication. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
