Job Title: WelderJob Description

As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding on structural steel. You will also use and read blueprints to fabricate steel, operate machinery lightly, and assemble parts as needed. Additionally, your role will involve grinding and cleaning up welds, as well as conducting visual inspections and testing of welds.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on structural steel.
• Use and read blueprints for the fabrication of steel.
• Operate machinery and assemble parts as needed.
• Grind and clean up welds performed.
• Conduct visual inspection and testing of welds.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of experience in MIG welding.
• 6 months of experience with fabrication and layout of steel.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow them accurately.
• Proficient in reading a measuring tape.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of structural welding techniques.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication.

Work Environment

The role is based in a fabrication environment, primarily involving sheet metal fabrication.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mankato, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54912.00/yr.
